Making a difference
Chris Notley set up the company 5-years ago specialising in recruiting for banks and other lenders. His vision was finding the perfect candidate or team against every single mandate. Making a difference to a candidate’s career and livelihood and the client’s business is the ultimate goal and is most rewarding.
Chris discovered a talent for recruiting when working at First Century Entertainment in Tokyo in the late 90s. The company needed to fill short-term vacancies with quality candidates from around the world; targeting America, Europe and Australasia. Chris set up a recruitment business and successfully recruited many candidates from across the globe into a country with a very different culture. It was a thriving business. As overseas recruitment and operations director, he was responsible for properties owned and rented by the business and this experience and interest in property finance led to a specialism when Chamberlain was born.

Building long-term relationships
On moving back to the UK in 2005, Chris spent 10 years working as a recruitment specialist in commercial and transaction banking and quickly grasped how to make a difference in the industry. With experience running a business and a relationship-first approach, it laid the foundations for him to establish a new firm.
It was the right decision. Five years on and having successfully placed many individuals and entire teams into banks and other lenders, clients return time and time again.

A reputation for the perfect fit

In fact, seventy percent of placements are made outside of London.
Chris puts his success down to a level of maturity in the industry; a strong understanding of roles and a deep knowledge of structures in start-ups to global banks which guarantees that only the most relevant and suitable candidates are put forward.
